Did anyone watch this new show from the creators of Family Guy? It was funnier than crap.

I fell asleep right after the Simpsons.
Read a review for it that said "If you've watched Family Guy then you've seen American Dad already"

actually i love family guy but didnt like this one too much

American Dad was funny in it's own right in my opinion...I mean, you're never gonna see the political satire that you can see in American Dad from Family Guy, and if you do it's only in small doses. Family Guy leans on pop culture, American Dad leans more on political and human differences.

For example, when we see God in the Family Guy episodes, he's mostly smiting Peter or someone else for doing something stupid. When we saw God in the American Dad episode last night, it had the political slant of God wanting to distance himself from Dubya, but when Cheney beeped in he answered "Yeah Boss?"...So there's a stark difference.

i agree family guy is hilarious. american dad just wasnt that funny, it seemed like they changed the characters mildy of the family guy and just tried to recycle it.

on another note, i was REALLY disappointed with the simpsons.

i agree with u on that one moonlight. the father of american guy seemed to be a walking verison of joe of the family guy. in its own right it was somewhat good. but it will never be the family guy never.
